Interview – Daria Tabea Lenz, USA bronze (diving – 1m springboard) : Naples reminds me of my beloved California”

“I like the hot weather here in Naples. It reminds me of my beloved California, even if it is damper, I must say”. The Neapolitan climate blessed the young Daria Tabea Lenz, bronze in the individual 1m springboard at the swimming pool in Mostra d’Oltremare for the 30^th Summer Universiade Napoli2019. A final with a surprising result for the athlete from Los Angeles, student of International Relations at Stanford University, whose dream is to become a lawyer in the future. ”I did not expect to reach the 3^rd position, and I am so happy and proud to represent my Country, United States of America, on the podium. I am looking forward to going out, celebrating and enjoying this city I like so much for its culture and food”, says Lenz. The athlete was not able to join the parade during the Opening Ceremony at San Paolo Stadium, on July 3^rd, but promises to visit Naples soon
