“I like the hot weather here in Naples. It reminds me of my beloved California, even if it is damper, I must say”. The Neapolitan climate blessed the young Daria Tabea Lenz, bronze in the individual 1m springboard at the swimming pool in Mostra d’Oltremare for the 30th Summer Universiade Napoli2019. A final with a surprising result for the athlete from Los Angeles, student of International Relations at Stanford University, whose dream is to become a lawyer in the future. ”I did not expect to reach the 3rd position, and I am so happy and proud to represent my Country, United States of America, on the podium. I am looking forward to going out, celebrating and enjoying this city I like so much for its culture and food”, says Lenz. The athlete was not able to join the parade during the Opening Ceremony at San Paolo Stadium, on July 3rd, but promises to visit Naples soon
