Gemma Louise McCarthur, young Scottish athlete and psychology student, is overwhelmed with joy for her first medal. In first position stands the Mexican Estrella, followed by South Korean Cho. They competed in the 10m individual diving on July 4th at Naples’ Mostra d’Oltremare swimming pool. Today’s competition was quite hard for McCarthur, who, after this bronze, aims at Tokyo 2020 Olympics, just like many other athletes.
