Legend Tamas Kasas, one of the strongest athletes in the history of water polo, was also in Caserta to witness the victory of the Italian “Settebello” team against Hungary: a three time Olympic champion with his Country’s national team, the life of the Hungarian ace has always been bound to Naples, as he competed for 6 seasons in team Posillipo, with which he had many wins. “This was a fun match, with a nice atmosphere and a great audience – says Kasas, 43 years old, who became an entrepreneur once he reached the end of his sports career -. I come back to Naples every 2 to 3 years, it is like a second home. After all, I lived the best years of my career here. Unfortunately I will not be able to attend the finals at Piscina Scandone, but I must say I really like this Universiade: it is well organised, the public is great and sports play a major role here”.
