Denise Mammolito, 4 goals in the first USA success against China: “It was a very important match for us, we had to win in order to compete for the third position and we made it. We started well, but then there were some defensive mistakes and China moved closer to us. Near the end we were worried because we could lose a lot, but we did not give up. We stopped some dangerous shots and came out victorious. Tomorrow the match against Australia will be decisive. Today the athletes from the men’s team were on the bleachers as well. I think that our bond is a strong point of our Federation and surely, they helped us with their support. It almost felt like Italy was playing!”.
