The athlete thus commented on the victory: “I faced this match in the only possible way: aiming to victory. This is not the first time I fight against my opponent, and I won once again. I cannot explain with words the emotions I am feeling right now. Today I cheered for my team and prayed for them. As a team, we are really close, we support each other, since winning the medal is not easy. My future objectives are the European Championship and, naturally, the Olympic Games. It is a great emotion to win a gold medal in a beautiful city such as Naples.”
