“Concentration is everything, both in sports and study” for Ukrainian archer Rodionova

Even for a bronze medal you need concentration, and Polina Rodionova knows it. The Ukrainian Olympic archer achieved two bronze medals after the competitions which took place on July 13th at the Royal Palace of Caserta: the athlete conquered the first medal with the women’s team, and the second with the mixed team, together with compatriots Iryna Khochyna and Artem Ovchynnikov.

“We did what we could and what we aimed for, with no expectations, nor too much fear for our opponents. We were focused and determined. Concentration is everything you need in order to perfectly succeed in the world of study, work and sport”, says the young Ukrainian.

Student of International Economics, she is currently unsure about her short-terms goals: “ I want to continue practising this sport discipline, maybe reach Tokyo 2020 and enjoy the Olympic Games just as much as I did during my first Universiade and every competition that led me to stand on the podium twice”.
