“I am training for a world championship and my performances need to be planned until the last minute. I am a person who plans a competition until the last moment. This is a very intense moment for me, yesterday I strictly followed the training regime and I cannot complain about the results. I did not expect to be this good this afternoon, I was very tired this morning, I felt the pressure from the Opening Ceremony and my legs felt heavy (c. n. Cusinato was the flag bearer). I am sorry for the two hundredths of a second, I am not as confident in the freestyle. I have to get better. For instance, I came back home in May and I changed coach. I have to reflect about my training path.”

“In conclusion, how do you find the right concentration before competing?”
“I can handle pressure very well. It has been two months since I attended a competition, I have been ill. The village is a peculiar place compared to an Hotel, we are not all together in groups, but we need to be able to take care of ourselves and I am good at it”.
