Lorene Derenty, goalkeeper of the French team, had a decisive role in the victory against Czech Republic, the first one for her team in the women’s tournament. “Tomorrow we will face China in the eight-finals. We want to win and advance in the competition. We know that we will not be able to reach the top teams, but we will do our best and try to go as far as possible.” Derenty, 25 years old, is also the goalkeeper of the senior French team. “I would like to use the experience gained during these years and share it with the team, help it improve: I think that this competition is important not only for the matches we play, but also for my teammates’ personal growth”.
