In a tight match where the victorious team could only be decided at the penalty shots, Hungary beat Russia in the second semi-final of the day and will play for gold tomorrow evening, at 8:00 pm, against Italy.
While team play has been the key to winning, great determination contributed in making a difference, as said by Captain Vivien Kovesdi, 25 years old, the most “mature” in her team.
“We played as if it were a final”, continued Kovesdi. Surely, the match served as a test of endurance before going against the Italians. The Hungarian team knows that Italy is a fearsome opponent, but they also do not fear anyone and will give their all to win the tournament.
